when it comes down to it, the founding fathers wanted every citizen to be able to defend themselves against a over reaching government of any kind. There is no way you can do that without making these things legal. Legal gun owners follow the rule. It's the bad guys that do Not, and that won't change, no matter what the law is. so stricter laws are not the answer, they just make legal owners criminals with laws that are ridiculous... ie: New York State SAFE act...look at the guy who was arrested for a legal gun, legal bullets, legal magazine, with a current and clean carry permit, and arrested for 9 rounds in a mag that held 10. because the law at the time said not allowed to carry more than 7 in your magazine....luckily was overturned and thrown out, but perfect example
